“This boot, named the Bedford, is my favorite companion on bike journeys from my flat in Chinatown to Brooklyn. I do this ride, usually three to four times a week, to hear live music at venues intimate as living rooms, eat tacos and watch art house movies.
It pairs beautifully with vintage lace dresses or slouchy cropped menswear trousers. Bedford has a generous toe, slender ankle, a slither of lacing up the back, and just enough tread to push me forward to the next new thing.
